AT CLEMSON UNIVERSITY

The Cognition and Decision Science (CADS) Lab is directed by Dr. Kaileigh Byrne and is part of the Department of Psychology at Clemson University. Our research focuses on characterizing mechanisms of reward processing, learning, and decision-making that affect behavior. We use a multimodal approach to examine the cognitive, physiological, and computational processes that influence our decisions and actions.

RESEARCH

The CADS Lab conducts research on decision-making, reward processing, and learning. Our goal is to understand factors that influence these processes and develop ways to enhance decision strategies.

LEARNING

The lab seeks to foster scientific learning in our lab members, our participants, and in our community. If you are interested in joining the lab or participating in a study, please visit our Contact Page.

EXCELLENCE

In our research endeavors, the CADS Lab promotes excellence in our scientific practices and ethical standards. We strive to uphold Clemson's core values in all that we do.
